Frequently Asked Questions

Origin, freshness, subscriptions, brewing, and wholesale — the questions we hear most. If yours is not here, write to us.

Coffee

Where does AP Coffee come from?

We roast specialty Arabica from family farms in the Andean highlands of Antioquia, Colombia. Lots are chosen for origin character — altitude, variety, and process — not a blended house profile.

How fresh is the coffee when it ships?

Coffee is fresh-roasted and shipped within 48 hours of the drum. That is the same standard for one-time bags and subscriptions.

How should I store my coffee?

Keep beans in an airtight container, away from heat, light, and moisture. Grind just before brewing. Avoid the refrigerator or freezer for bags you will use in the next few weeks.

What brew method should I use?

Any method that matches the grind and ratio. Start with our brewing guides for pour over, espresso, French press, Aeropress, moka pot, and cold brew — each has a quick-reference recipe and steps.

Orders & subscriptions

Do I have to subscribe to buy coffee?

No. You can shop individual lots or start a subscription. Subscriptions are for people who want coffee on a regular cadence without thinking about the next order.

Why subscribe to AP Coffee?

So good coffee shows up before you run low. The AP Coffee Club keeps freshly roasted selections on repeat, delivered on your schedule, with subscriber perks, club pricing, and early access to new releases.

How does an AP Coffee subscription work?

You set a cadence. We roast the lot, ship it to your door, and keep the next bag coming. Pause, skip, or change lots whenever you like — there are no contracts.

How often can I have coffee delivered?

On your schedule. Weekly is a natural rhythm if you drink through a bag, and you can change the cadence whenever you like.

Can I choose which coffee I receive?

Yes. Subscriptions are built around the lots we roast, and you can change lots whenever you like.

Can I choose whole bean or ground coffee?

We roast and ship whole bean so you can grind for the method you use. If you need a specific grind, send us a note and we will help.

Can I change my coffee selection after subscribing?

Yes. Change lots whenever you like. There are no contracts.

Can I skip a delivery?

Yes. Skip a shipment whenever you like.

Can I pause or cancel my subscription anytime?

Yes. Pause whenever you like, and there are no contracts if you want to stop.

Is there a minimum commitment?

No. There are no contracts and no minimum term.

Can I change my delivery frequency?

Yes. Deliveries run on your schedule, and you can change the cadence whenever you like.

Do subscribers receive special pricing or perks?

Yes. Club members get subscriber perks and club pricing, plus early access to new releases.

Will subscribers get access to new or limited-release coffees?

Yes. Subscribers get early access to new releases as they come off the drum.

Can I send an AP Coffee subscription as a gift?

A subscription is set up on the account that places the order. If you want to send coffee as a gift, write to us and we will help you set it up.

When will my card be charged?

You are charged for the coffee that ships. There is no prepaid contract or minimum term.

How do I update an order or ask about a shipment?

Send us a note through the contact page with your name, email, and order details. We will follow up as soon as we can.

Wholesale

Do you work with cafés, restaurants, and offices?

Yes. The wholesale program is built around the business — coffee selection, volumes, and a supply schedule that fits. Cafés, restaurants, hotels, grocers, events, and offices are all welcome.

How do I apply for wholesale?

Read about the program on the wholesale page, then submit a wholesale inquiry. We review the application and follow up with coffees, volumes, and next steps.
